Mate Számadó - #65
A part of JRP Management’s and the JRP Academy’s work is to identify, organize and provide riding opportunities for our young riders. These can vary from track days and tests, to world SBK debuts. One such case where our Academy helped fund a young talent’s progress was Máté Számadó’s debut in the SuperSport 300 world championship during the world SBK event in Most, Czech Republic.
Máté, who was the 2019 European SSP300 champion and currently competes in the German IDM SSP300 championship for the HRE team, was called up as replacement rider for the Italian based GP Project Kawasaki team. This opportunity, organized by the 16 year old Hungarian rider’s management team at Owen Racing Ltd., was co-funded by Owen Racing and our JRP Academy.
Számadó comented: “Being able to compete in Most and race against the best of the world was an absolute dream come true. Thanks to JRP Academy for their help getting me here and giving me the opportunity to show my potential on this stage. I am proud to be the first rider representing JRP Management in this world championship paddock, but I am sure I will not be the last.”
